Hi, I'm using Windows 7.
And using worksheet I got a problem in inputting numbers and
formula's.
First it worked okay but as I progressed in making a budget the
numbers are not adding up any more as should be.
And the formula's are just being shown as formula (even though it is
not checked in the option at taskbar).
I think I found the problem. The numbers which are shown correctly are
just there as number so are the formulas.
But the numbers and formula's which are not working have "in front of
it. In example "80 or "=som(d5:d8) If I just delete the " sign it
automatic reappears on hitting enter. How to undo this???

Hi,

You have to check the format of the cells. It may have been defaulted to 'text' format. To fix this, right click on the cell and select 'format cells'. Next select the 'category' as 'General'. Double click inside the cell and hit enter. This should fix that cell. As for the remaining cells, do a copy and paste special -> formats.

This should do the trick.

James
